The third of the YU Dead Sea Scrolls Seminars for the Spring 2013
semester will take place on Tuesday, April 23, 2013 at 5:45 PM in
Belfer Hall 921 on the Wilf (uptown) campus of Yeshiva University.
The speaker will be Professor Joseph L. Angel of the Department of
Jewish Studies at Yeshiva. His topic is "The Origins and Purpose of
the Qumran Book of Giants," and the respondent is Alexandria Frisch,
Ph.D. candidate at New York University and incoming Visiting Assistant
Professor in Jewish Studies, Ursinus College.

HOLD THE DATE:

The first “mini-conference” sponsored by the Yeshiva University Dead
Sea Scrolls Seminar will take place at the Wilf (uptown) Campus of
Yeshiva University on Sunday, May 19, 2013 from 1:30-4:30 PM. Keep an
eye out for the forthcoming announcement about the conference.
