The points made in the site are not illogical.

For example, China would have strong reason to prevent a Russian backed regime from running Afghanistan. The Chinese also have much to gain by tying the U. S. down in a debilitating war in the region. The Northern Alliance also would pose a threat to Pakistan which has been a long time ally of the Chinese.

Debka was the first site to indicate that the Saudis would not permit the use of the Prince Sultan Air Base.

Sites like Debka often have thought provoking commentary -- something sorely lacking on CNN/CNBC/FOX.</HTML>
