The e-mail claims that Q33 was one of the crashed flights, which is patently false. Why give a false flight number? because if you don't use Q33, there's nothing significant there."

American airlines do not use the "letter-number-destination" format for flights.
By the way, type in NYC and change it to Webdings instead of Wingdings, and you get "I Love NY."
It was an interesting hoax though.
