<HTML>A small Greek Orthodox Church, the St. Nicholas
Greek Orthodox Church, refused to sell their property
and move when the World Trade Center was built.
As a result, this small church ended up in the
shadow of the World Trade Center. Still, this church
was a good neighbor and opened it doors to people
in the World Trade Center. It was the place where
many of the people who worked in the World Trade
Center took a short break from their jobs to pray in
peace and solitude regardless of their race or religion
Needless to say, the church, which serves a
working-class congregation, was leveled when
the World Trade Center collapsed on top of it.
Some web pages are:
St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church as it once stood
in the shadow of the Twin Towers at the World Trade
Center. The church was destroyed from the collapse
of the adjacent buildings.

Although I am an Unitarian, I will be sending
them some money this month.
