I am not quite sure if you have simply misunderstood the reasons for my post or not. How you could possibly equate what I said as a comparison of the two goes beyond me. The post was meant to reflect the fact that the American Congress have authorized "tactical nuclear attacks" if deemed neccessary. If this is true and they are used then a counter attack of same could be expected ( as it has been reported that the bomb may be in the hands of terrorists now ). You may take comfort in the fact that the Americans would never do this but then I ask why would they say it and pass a resolution of such and why was it reported on CNN.
Now that we realize that these lunatics are capable of anything, the latter is no longer beyond the realm of possibility. During the Cuban missle crisis we could at least take solace in the fact that the enemy had wifes and families as well but now with this unseen enemy, who have total disregard of their lives as well as others this comfort is gone.
How does one eradicate that which is unseen, unheard and uncaring. Do we erase the entire middle east ? Do we become suspicious of all who carry foreign sounding names ? How does one eradicate such obscene hatred of human life. I am afraid I do not have any answers.
