<HTML>It is one very confused jamboree of bits and pieces very much in von Daniken's style. Just as an example: 17 stone slabs, one inscripted (allegedly) to Yahveh and another to Ra?? What was it ??? An inter-religious conference hosted bt Phoenicians in Australia??? And can somebody from this list tell me if those drawings really look like a Phoenician script???
ONE Ptolemaic coin (apparently) found in 1910 -so what??? Even if not a hoax it could have been easily lost by an earlier European settler-collector. One swallow doesn't make a spring (or is it summer?).
As to the Hopis and "Sun Stone" again assuming that's it's a true story, I am slowly beginning to to loose patience with SOME of the ameri-indians so called "elders". They seems strangely ready at accept all sort of things as a long lost artifacs belonging to their tribe. Even Crichton's Cross was apparently recognised by some "wise man" as a part of the "lost knowledge" of his people. And what about the "Kenwick man" fiasco?????
And so on and so forth.....
