<HTML>Garrett:

Enough. Perhaps you didn't notice ALL the evidence...

The circle is a CLEAR depiction of the Hopewell Indian's understanding of precession. It shows how the constellations travel in a complete circle. What other meaning could a circle possibly have?

The size of the circle, 90 feet across, is an EXACT scale model of the Earth's equator.

And, if we take the circumference, it is nearly EXACTLY 71.6 meters... the number of years it takes for the constellations to proceed through one precessional cycle.

I might also point out that there is ONE and ONLY ONE point on the Hopewell circle that is PERFECTLY aligned to North. This can be no small coincidence. This level of accuracy is FAR beyond even that of the ancient Egyptians and their alignment of the Great Pyramid.

Now, Garrett... in light of these OMINOUS and AWESOME discoveries, I hope you will bow your head and apologize profusely to all the Atlanteans (and their descendants) that you have offended.
