Especially enlightening is (a) Van Praagh's dismally unsuccessful attempt to "read" a caller; (b) Edward, in the wake of Van Praagh's failure, refusing even to try to read another caller and; (c) the descent into abuse of skeptical guests at the end.
The latter speaks volumes and is eerily reminiscent of the attitudes of certain other individuals who set themselves up as The Sons of Light fighting against the Darkness of Skepticism.
