Sonar mapping revealed signs of rivers and freshwater lakes across a
now-sunken landscape almost twice the size of the UK, where humans
could once have thrived.
The "Atlantis" comparison to any prehistoric submerged landscape
is getting painfully cliche for journalists to continue making.
