1) There is no mention of Atlantis anywhere before Plato, and any mention afterwards are in reference to his dialogues.
2) his dialogues are fictional conversations through which he gives his philosophy. His description of Atlantis and its people served to make a philosophical point about Athens.
3) He tells us where Atlantis was located: beyond the Pillars of Hercules (strait of Gibraltar). We have looked. There is nothing beyond the Pillars of Hercules resembling Atlantis. All of this together has convinced archaeologists, historians, and even ancient writers, that Plato made Atlantis up. (]Benjamin Hatfield)

when you ask the OP to prove Atlantis doesn’t exist you are committing a logical fallacy, known as “burden of proof”. Here’s the definition that explains the illogicality of your question: “The burden of proof lies with someone who is making a claim, and is not upon anyone else to disprove. The inability, or disinclination, to disprove a claim does not render that claim valid, , nor give it any credence whatsoever.” So the burden of proof is on you to prove Atlantis existed, not on those who disagree it did.
