I looked at the BBC article at [

The caption to one picture states:
"The ford carries marks presumed to have been made by carts"
What I see is a really nice ammonite in the picture at [
web.archive.org] .
There are a couple of arcuate grooves in the lower left-hand corner
of the picture. Is that what they are referring to? Or is it the
water-filled groove on the right-hand side of the picture? Neither
is convincing as cart tracks.
