I think the film in this genre I liked best was "Red Sonja" ...

However, quite why some authors and websites seem unable to distinguish between the Faeroe Islands and the Kola Peninsula is quite beyond me ...

But, if you look more closely at this article [irna.fr], you'll see some mentions of Paul Heinrich, pouring (metaphorical) cold geological water on some of the more outrageous fantasies of various would-be researchers.
