Apologies for any confusion!

I used the term "Palestinian" to distinguish the people who were supposedly responsible for the Los Lunas stone from anyone else: an exercise fraught with more than the usual quantum of difficulty ... At any rate, these people would supposedly have visited North America before the founding of the modern State of Israel - [en.wikipedia.org]. (Not quite the same thing as the Kingdom of Israel - [en.wikipedia.org]).

(There's also the State of Palestine [en.wikipedia.org], about which there's much present-day contention).

So, to get back to my previous question: how would the supposed people from the (by implication, ancient) land of Palestine (or Israel) have reached New Mexico in antiquity?
