<HTML>A question for anyone knowledgeable in carbon 14 dating:

What are the implications of the periodic shift of the suns magnetic field?

Do we experience a temporary increase in exposure to radiation from the sun and outer space when the protection afforded by the earths magnetic field drops?

And if so, do these exposures have an impact on what we are measuring as a steady rate of decay in the carbon 14?

Not sure where I read this. Any takers?</HTML>
