Earlier we were discussing the possibility that the Norse discovered the Northwest Passage during the Medieval Warm Period and the mariner's memory became an absolute obcession during the Age of Exploration. I have not read all of it yet, only Part 2, West by Northwest. He has certainly done a lot of research but I question his placing Helluland, Markland and Vinland in the Pacific Northwest. I did notice that he did come up with the same route as I did for the Kensington expedition.
