<HTML>> But you are making a point of calling attention to messages that he
> himself apparently cannot be bothered to post....
Er, no. I e-mailed Krupp and gave within those e-mails both where I found the arguments of Bauval and the text of those arguments. Krupp was responding to me to an e-mail I sent him where I requested the information. Krupp gave me permission to post it if I saw fit. He's not prepared to get into a tit-for-tat and as director of a major observatory he has better things to do with his time than write on a message board, due to his heavy workload; he merely responded to me in his own time. I have no problem with being an intermediary and to be frank if I was in Krupp's position I'd be doing the same as he is. Don't confuse "cannot be bothered" with workload and not wanting to become directly involved, in an argument he considers pointless to begin with and against someone whose pseudo astronomical knowledge he has previously demonstrated to be - Vogon poetry deleted - -poor at best. If he wasn't bothered he'd never have written back to me - I take it as a sign of trust - and he has better things to do. If you want to enquire further you are welcome to look up the Griffiths Observatory and e-mail him... I also don't blame him for not wanting to become directly involved by posting after what Bauval has attempted to do to him in the past, particularly after Horizon. Personally I think he is doing the right thing by not becoming personally involved.
> Some of the rest of us manage to find "buried" threads and keep them going for days....
Er, again. When they are off the page they are off the page, where none except those who have already posted and are receiving e-mail responses know there has been further activity on; and any threads near the bottom of the page will soon be off. Hence why I took the trouble just a couple of days ago of reproducing the entire Krupp correspondences with links to the various other threads, to tie everything together.
> Why doesn't Krupp just join in?
Why should he. If he wants to write on the board he knows the url.
E-mail him...</HTML>
