Looks like the courtyard alignment hypothesis is wrong.

Using Lehner's reconstructions (working with another individual) I more accurately modeled the placement of the courtyards. Conclusion: the belt stars rather poorly align with these areas.

I cannot defend an OCT focused upon the mortuary temple courtyards. Though the match is close, it is well within the range of coincidence.
