<HTML>Cool picture, Dave.
A few years ago, I woke up (or thought I did) in the middle of the night, and I saw at the foot of my bed a demon of the same sort, and it also looked very much like the stereotype of an alien. It was vaguely frightening, and it approached me and bared fangs before laying its hands on as though to pull me from the bed. I knew in my mind that this thing could not be real, for it resembled the archetypical "night terror" images that people see when they are in the transition stage between sleep and wake. So rather than be afraid, I just looked at it and told myself that it did not exist. Sure enough, the demon vanished without a trace, and I successfully awoke into broad daylight.
Ever since that day, I was sure that demons and aliens were just artifacts of primal functions of the sleeping brain.
