Presumably it exists, otherwise how could Hancock (for example) be so confident in regurgitating, to arcsecond precision, Posnansky's "convincingly demonstrated" assertion of the obliquity of the ecliptic at time of the building of the Kalasasaya? [rhetorical]

Ah. I also wish to pursue a hunch, but an altogether different one, based on a supposition (triggered by several bits of pseudo-historical writing) that those who are making 'unconventional' assertions as to astronomical alignments are not actually practiced naked-eye observers.
