Sorry but the fact Chinese bureaucrats destroyed records is only proof that they destroyed records and nothing else. The fact is we have evidence that Zheng He sailed to Ceylon, Africa, the Persian gulf etc. In fact this evidence is fairly extensive. But regarding evidence of voyages to North America the evidence is nil. There is no point is asserting that he may have gone to North America when the evidence is nil. It is vastly more likely he never got there. One can speculate tell the cows come home it proves nothing. One might has well assert Zheng He reached Antartica or time traveled. Besides why would the bureaucrats supress completely knowledge about voyages to the Americas and yet fail to supress fairly comprehensive knowledge of Zheng He's voyages to Africa etc. Sorry but its irrational to assert that it is worth taking seriously events for which there is no evidence.
