My initial paragraph was supposed to be jokey :-) No need to apologise - I'm not precious really - it just seems like that ~lol~
My posts on the Sphinx are all over the place, I'm just learning. Before I got on the internet I had only read the accounts by GH and JAW. Since reading the postings by people on this board and others I have realised that my previous appraisal was naive and incomplete. I like the subject and have be trying to make sense of it all in light of the new information that I have discovered. Sometimes you get a reaction by being provocative on these message boards :-) But they are a great opportunity for someone like me. The discussions I've had with you, Duncan, Michael, Mikey and others on this subject have all been really helpful - I've found out a whole new angle on the debate and am still learning.
