It really should be pointed out that some of the stones that were
moved and lifted on the Giza plateau are not really within the range
of what we can do with modern technology. Some of these stones are
too large for existing railbeds and bridges to support.

It's only in the last couple of generations that cranes of sufficient
capacity to lift them have come into existence.

Maybe in another hundred years we could duplicate Giza using modern
technology.
