Yes as a matter of fact you never addressed any of the points that I raised on mythology that later turned out to be real. Here I'll post the whole thing again....
Yes we have gone over this time and time again. And this academic nihilism needs to be addressed and stopped. "This absence of evidence, is in, fact evidence of absence" fallacy is one of the most subtle and dangerous of historical fallacies. It lulls us to sleep thinking we have the answer when in fact we're utterly clueless about what went on during a given time period. So let's take a look at who else goes in the historical trashcan. How about Gilgamesh? The only record we had of him was a blatantly fantastic myth where he goes all over the world doing everything under the sun with his buddy Enkidu. It was the first and best road trip in history. Pure fantasy, pure nonsense. Except for one tiny problem. Gilgamesh existed. Once the Sumerian king's list were translated the myth turned into reality. On a different note how many of the Egyptian Pharaohs do we really have secure knowledge of? Most of the Ptolemies are unaccounted for the same with the FIP SIP TIP? Since we have no knowledge of their existence except from a corrupt kings list maybe we should dismiss them too. Again iirc Manetho said 70 kings ruled in 70 days in the 7th dynasty. Most Egyptologists dismiss this as nonsense. Why? From what I can see for no particular reason at all. Just the old absence of "evidence arugment". So the Jesus-never-existed crew anchor their arguments solidly to a foundation of fog. So that's why we continue this agrument. We just want to restore a little intellectual rigor in to and force people to get out their armchairs and actually do some hard work.
