Hi Thadd.
I have tried many avenues in the past and one of the main problems was I always wanted to use Pi or Phi and Egyptologists claimed they did not have this knowledge and I finally gave up trying to prove they did because it was impossible short of finding that missing papyrus with the formulas written down. But this new breakthrough is wonderful in it's simplicty. No Pi, no Phi not even a circle has been used yet. Just simple tools and a simple knowlegdge of bi-secting a line which has been conceded to the Egyptians.
The original measurement used as a grid I believe was the double remen which is the distance of the diagonal on a square 1 cubit in size. It has also been conceded that they used this measurement in the lay out of their fields after the floods.
So what great complicated math have I used ?
A 3/4/5 triangle
A 1/1/sq rt 2 triangle
Bi-secting a line.
Swinging an arc which again has been conceded to the Egyptians.
This time no outlandish claims. Simple math, Basic math. However as we know from these simple basic trig functions many complicated formula follow.
The math is perfect. As is the fit.
Giza has been solved.
So who drew up the plan ? Imhotep ?
Perhaps ... Perhaps not. Maybe it was Thoth himself.
Best
