Had a question on another forum that I can't answer, and am away on a trip so my time for research is limited.

"What did the AEs call the pyramids?"

My brief (and probably wrong) answer was that they didn't have a general name for them -- that it was more like the American "White House" -- they had a given name but the name for the shape wasn't actually associated with the structure.

Soooo... please correct me, here! What were they called?
