I think he's well named.

Technically, his information is correct but presents the same sort of problems as renaming sections of the United States (or Mexico/Central America) into whatever name was given by the native people of the region. Colonialism is at the root of many problems in the area, but I doubt that renaming the region and having no "official language" (as Arabic is) will cause more problems than it resolves.
