Since there is 7* difference in declination between Saiph (Kappa Orinis) and Sirius, it is not possible for Sirius to have been visible in 10450 B.C.. In that year it would have been at least 5* below the horizon at +30 lat. (Giza) I think if you check it again you might find that Sirius didn't become visible at Giza until c. 8250 B.C..
