The attempt by some Hindutva to enter pseudohistory into the textbooks of the children of California (and the rest of the country since we know how the textbook system works) has been defeated.

Michael Witzel and Steve Farmer led a group of Indian-Americans, graduate students, Indologists, concerned parents, south Asian scholars and others sucessfully stopping the edits to the history books demanded by the Hindutva group.
