I wasn't commenting on the validity of alchemy itself... only on the origin of the supposed "link" to ancient Egypt. In a nutshell... there is none.

I'm sure, that for somebody as logical as you are, that you'll understand that since this an assertion without a foundation that I'll have to take it with a grain of salt. BTW I have no idea whether there is or isn't a connection to AE or not. However as one of my favorite Chinese sayings goes "The longest journey begins with the first step." The "neoglyphs" however represent a strong link IMHO.
