For some reason, I seem to be getting a lot of email lately. I just dumped about 20 from my inbox. That should help.
Now, these additional photos are a zoomed out view of the one we already have, and a shot of the double pulley that is shown in the other photos.
On the wall in the top pic you can see a tiny block and tackle... but those were only good for a couple hundred pounds. He might have used those for the smaller blocks or chairs that he carved.
There is NO photograph that has a block and tackle that is not one of these two pieces. None. Zip. Nada.
These are the real McCoys, as far as any reasonable person can tell.
Like I said, I was amazed to see them displayed so prominently there... and so easily identifiable as the devices in the old photos.
