I wouldn't worry so much about Florida as I would Alabama. The news has a horrible habit of blowing things out of proportion. Trust me on this one, I was there for Erin and OPal. I just spoke with my mother who lives in Fort Walton Beach and all is well. The stores closed up a little earlier last night and most of the tourists ended their vacations early. There are still some downed power lines, but that's typical. My father, who started his drive to Huntsville this morning says that there is more visible damage in Alabama. For example, a tree down on a house. Most of the damage of this storm will probably come from flooding, so I'll toss this back to Kat. I imagine she's a bit wet today.
