But the description indicates that the drawn faces are very much reconstructions.

There are also designs that suggest what might be head-hair, and crescent shapes on the base, which were possibly intended to represent beard-hair."
So we have a raised nose, one eye, and just maybe eyelashes and hair and beard. Maybe. How can anyone say that it looks like?
