anymore about whether this box has been recovered or
opened?

"A team of archaeologists will visit Baker Lake
(Nunavut, Canada) this summer to investigate
three unmarked graves and a locked wooden chest."

Doug Stenton of the Inuit Heritage Trust was suppose
to have lead an exoedition to recover this box.
