I'm keen to avoid this descending into an unneccesary and unedifying slapfest and I'm troubled to discern a note of growing frustration in your recent posts. Ironically enough I can agree with the forest you are presenting to us while demuring from the trees you are shaking. Incidentally, I'm sure you can appreciatte the irony of you bemoaning the fact that information is being withheld from you about something ;-)
One of the biggest problems for any poster to an MB is knowing when to call it a day on a particular thread. The chances of anything ever being resolved to *everyones* satisfaction are pretty remote and perhaps the best we can ever hope for is to have been given the opportunity to develop ones own point of view while gaining an insight into everyone else's. On a number of recent issues I would say that this modest aim has been amply met.
