You need a BIG open mind.
Lots of early Christian reasearch...the off-line kind.
Sometime you need to tip-toe around.
I swear...I had lunch today with a fella that didn't know there were other Gospels outside the KJV Bible.

I agree Peski...and we have access to just a small piece of it.
Here is a list of "gospels" that never made it to KJV.

2 Chr. 8:11 says:
11 Solomon brought Pharaoh's daughter up from the City of David to the palace he had built for her, for he said, "My wife must not live in the palace of David king of Israel, because the places the ark of the LORD has entered are holy."
King David had more that one palace?

Well Doug..it is what it is.
You have to look at each article individually.
I personally think this one has lots of merrit.
I like to actually read "stuff" first before I make an opinion.
(not saying you didnt read it) But I see a lot of that here.

Jim...the book is a very good read (IMO).
It IS laced with facts..some solid...some not so.
A very entertaining way to introduce yourself to Grail lore.
Its the fiction that sets it apart from say..."Holy Blood, Holy Grail".

I'm a little confused...do scholors NOT believe in the giant stories?
Just do a internet search for Rephaim.
..and it wasnt David...Sibecai the Hushathite, one of David's men, delivered a fatal blow to the giant Sippai during a battle at Gob.
King Og was supposidly one of the final giants.

Thanks for the links Dennis,
"That latitude, 23.5 degrees, is the present tilt angle. But over the course of a 41,000-year cycle, the tilt and the tropic get as high as 24.5 and as low as 22.1 degrees."
I can buy that!
I just read more into this than was there.

Well..yes.Every 26,000 years. Understand how and why it titlts and it make no sence to say that the earth poles titlted and wiped out everybody.
Magnetic poles flip...but the axis (of earth) just precesses like a top.
The period of precession is about 26,000 yea

"Changes in the tilt of the earth’s axis....."
It was interesting till I read that!
There is overwhelming scientific evidence that proves that earth axis has been the same for 100's of thousands of years. One example: petrified wood on the continent of Antarctica. This petrification would have taken place almost 200,000 years ago. The ring patten on the wood shows that the tr

I can't find even one reference word "Nazareth" in the NHL.
(which was translated from coptic to english)
From the Gospel of Philip in Nag Hammadi Library
Translated by Wesley W. Isenberg
"Jesus" is a hidden name, "Christ" is a revealed name. For this reason "Jesus" is not particular to any language; rather he is always called by the name

"Jesus of Nazareth" is a translation error.
It should read "Jesus the Nazarene".
The Nazarene was a sect of early followers of Jesus.

That would be Greek Mythology.
Orion was a mortal son of Poseidon.
His father gave him the gift of walking under water.
Come to think of it...I believe the "water" is the MilyWay.

Interesting Hermione,
As you can see Orion does a flip.
I wonder if the differnt positions are related to Orion mythology of walking on top of the water (the eliptic) and walking with only his head above water.
