"In January 2004, the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) did do a rebuttal of Fletcher's documentary, rather in depth, and apparently with the SCA's and Hawass' blessing (they provided reports to them for the CBC production). This exposé is no longer online, but it questioned Fletcher's and Discovery Channel's agendas in making the documentary in the form they d

Jane Akshar mentions rumours of another tomb find near KV-8 (Merenptah) on her blog and I received an email from Lug Buergin last night pointing me to this story (Jane has updated her blog post since I first looked to include this story also)
And Bernhard Grundl mentions it here on the Glyphdoctors forum
So if this new find is over by KV-8 then it is not the radar anomally reported by

I caught the press conference live on BBC News 24 but I cannot find online video of anything but various news reporters' breathless commentaries. Hawass told everyone to 'shut up' at one point!

After Joann Fletcher announced the mummy was Nefertiti and the ensuing row blew up, Hawass arranged a PCR DNA test for a simple 'sexing' of the mummy DNA and produced a fax of the results saying the DNA was from a male ( ) and was therefore obviously not Nefertiti.
From what I gather it has been proven that the previous DNA test was faulty - due to contamination from modern sources

Pharaoh Hatshepsut Died in Pain
More details about the various afflications that Hatshepsut was suffering from, based upon examination of the newly identified mummy, including "a rather disgusting skin disease" - although it is noted that this may be post-mortem.

Dave,
I've got a NetGear DG834G Wireless modem router switch box for my 1Mb broadband. I have 3 desktops wired to it via 100Mb Ethernet and 1 laptop over wirless 54Mb 802.11g. It works great. This acts as a NATS firewall for the entire LAN also.
Every phone socket in the house needs a high-band spitter to split the voice from the broadband. Don't forget the cable or satellite

The 200-year famine would presumably start somewhere in the sixth dynasty (possibly in the reign of Pepy II as the last two pharaohs are somewhat non-entities) and end sometime in the Eleventh dynasty pos
