After watching the video I’d say this is a pile of …, click bait for uninformed people. Don’t waste your time on this video, it’s nothing more than speculation wrapped in cool drone footage spiked with the presenter’s failed attempt at solving why the Egyptians used 3 blocking stones for the upper chamber.

Congratulations!!
if I recall correctly Parker was attempting to synchronize a lunar calendar feast with his Sothic solar calendar scheme, which required an earlier lunar calendar that he claimed was abandoned when the Egyptians adopted the civil calendar. His sources were so late in Egyptian history that such a claim was untenable.

The lack of survey data to clarify the real position of the so-called alignment markers presented is why this theory fails at every level. Using Overlays without real geophysical locations is pathetic and not serious, not to mention that the presentation is beyond pathetic… it’s delusional.

As I have claimed many times… the reason these pyramids at Giza are so large is because what we see today represents the third iteration of building, these pyramids were built over and incorporate earlier constructs.

We have to ask a very simple question, is the base dimension of a pyramid the most important/functional aspect of a pyramid?

I agree, the symmetry of the indentations on all four sides seems to nullify the idea of form by the impact of stones knocked down from the top, I can imagine tumbling, smashing, and irregular effects as a result. The accuracy of the indentations isn’t perfect, but it wouldn’t be necessary for the core masonry composition to provide what many have suggested to be intentional by the builders to ad

Essentially the author admits more evidence is required to substantiate his hypothesis; that the indentation found in the composition of the core masonry for each side of Khufu’s pyramid was the result of knocking/tumbling the upper stones of the pyramid’s facing stones and core stones down each face of the pyramid. That this action over time formed the indentations visible today, he also include

There are of course kernels of truth in mythology, storytelling — such is the case with the Westcar. Its formula has magical occurrences weaved with known kings in succession before and after Khufu’s reign, and the succession of three kings (triplets) that began the 5th dynasty. The latter is actually twins but conflated by three queens with the same name, two of which gave birth to twins.

Like Mr. Smith, founder of the Mormon Church, who spent days locked in his house with a papyrus and eventually emerged speaking to his followers… explaining he had deciphered the ancient document as being the Book of Joseph.
Smith purchased the document from a traveling horse drawn wagon outside the city of St. Louis, the fella driving the wagon had departed New York with a load of artifacts

Excellent point! The only document that attempts to explain G1 is Westcar, a 15 dynasty copy (translated into hieroglyphs by a19th century scholar) of a 12 dynasty tale.

To put it context… in general Egyptology exists in a furrow crafted by 19th century concepts, all universities teach the science are limited by the inability of knowing more than 10% of the ancient Egyptian culture beyond grave goods. Archaeologists follow strict rules about evidence, but no so much in Egyptology, which the latter is based interpretive opinions… a simple example can be found on a

GChase,
Some initial thoughts.
There doesn't appear to be any references on any artifacts that supports the Heb Sed as a stellar ritual that included the participation of nome gods (followers of horus), as to the latter rituals performed inside mortuary enclosures they were not public affairs once the procession entered the enclosure, there is no evidence to explain why, but it was pr

...more clarity is a good thing. This tomb offers a critical link that convincingly demonstrates the royal succession from Menkaure to Niuserre... he lived during the rule of eight kings beginning as a young child during Menkaure's reign, was married to shepsekhaf's daughter and worked for Userkhaf, Sahure, Reneferre (...) was still alive at the start of Niuserre's reign. Agreed. Krasniqi’s source is renowned Egyptologist Corinna Rossi, but it’s a head scratcher Because Rossi lists the royal cubit equal to 52.5 cm based entirely on D. Arnold’s metrology of Mentuhotep I’s temple, long removed from the Old Kingdom. The weighted mean average for the Old Kingdom royal cubit is 52.37 cm.

A curious thought from an individual who signs off every post with “hail Atlantis”
It makes no difference if the ancient Egyptians understood or used pi, other than the ability to say they did or they didn’t. Clearly they knew what a circle was and they tried to accurately calculate or define the area of a circle in mathematical terms, and it’s hard to prove why they made such efforts. Perhaps

“In the eyes of archaeologists, if you have no evidence, you have no case. Supposition, assertion, innuendo, and speculation do not constitute archaeological evidence and cannot be supplanted in its stead.” …G.Fagan 2001
Lehner rightfully states Egyptology is mostly based on probabilities.

Of course there is no supporting evidence beyond what I posted on either side of question regarding pi, I wasn’t trying to make that case, it was an example of a curious result found in the modern surveys of Khufu’s base median side length. Regarding diagonals of squares as whole numbers I disagree, the remen of any land area squared provides its diagonal (hypotenuse), the Egyptians understood an

So, 439.82 RC would be rendered by a scribe as 439 RC + 1/2 + 1/4 + 1/15 + 1/300 or by rc rod 439 + 5 palms + 3 fingers. Menkaure’s 201.52 RC side length …. 201 + 1/2 + 1/50 or 201 + 3 palms + 3 fingers.

The best weighted mean for the Royal cubit is 20.62”, used against the weighted mean of the top 3 surveys of Khufu’s pyramid base dimension (Petrie,Cole,Dash) of 9069.21 inches makes the mean side length of the pyramid base dimension equal to 439.82 RC, which happens to have a whole number length of 622 RC for its base diagonal. Moreover, 439.82 RC divided by the whole number 140 (1/2 the pyramid

Whole numbers… then why did they functionally use non-integers? The Royal cubit rods blow your argument out of the water… fractions of cubits and understanding the concept of infinity by using unit fractions illustrate their goal wasn’t based on whole numbers. First dynasty Egyptian surveyors we’re marking out land-area measures based on square cubits and understood the diagonal of any square to

HERODOTUS 2.149: “One hundred fathoms equals a furlong of six hundred feet, the fathom being measured as six feet or four cubits, the feet being four palms each, and the cubits six.” During the lifetime of Herodotus, Egypt was under Persian control. This may explain why Herodotus related the length of the Egyptian schoinos to the Persian parasang, and may explain the length of 12,000 royal cubits

It's hard to take the stories found in the Westcar Papyrus beyond entertainment of ancient lore, the remarkable aspect is that kernels of truth generally seem to be accounted for by the archaeologic record, the link below (Jenny Berggren) is worth the time to read as it illustrates the difficulty of translation as it breaks down one key element of the text concerning Khufu... Hi Principia,
Unfortunately Reisner's concession didn't include the pyramid, Maragiolio and Rinaldi only spent their time on the interior and site Petrie's measure for the pyramid base.

Hi Kanga,
It seems after Petrie's effort Menkaure's base dimension lost the interest of surveyors as all eyes became (and remain) focused on Khufu's pyramid. The GPMP set station marks all over the plateau but still the cost and time to survey Menkaure's pyramid is akin to burning a pile of money for nothing other than confirming Petrie's results which are incomplete w
