There's a newer one out now? Do you remember the name? (and since i ranted on to Kat about a few posters who start arguments let me do this NOW to save "them" the trouble and to get it over with early. The only good cat is a dead cat. Or perhaps One should never vaccinate.)
My vet convinced me to get feline leukemia vaccinations for mine, however they were sort of punk and down

I believe you must have missed his interview on Animal Planet about this...you are always so careful before you start name calling, I am surprised. He talked about wearing the croc out first, camera angles, lots of support staff on hand, etc. I am sure by now that interview is up on-line somewhere.

Many years ago when the infamous Iben Browning "predicted" a major earthquake to happen 'somewhere' within the lat and long. criteria he set up (where, cough, most earthquakes occur anyway) his prediction caused a huge uproar in the New Madrid seismic zone area in the Central United States.
While the news media jumped all over this 'prediction' with glee, they fr

Amelia! Amelia! Take a side trip!!! Go east on Winchester, for about 10 or 15 minutes and you will be able to see the 75 foot tall replica of the statue of liberty that i mentioned below. And while you are in nashville you could go by the parthenon. Athena's statue (painted, really pretty) is there. Not that i am a statue freak or anything but since you asked...
will you be here for Elvis W

now it is no longer a sports arena. It is an empty building. that MAY be an aquarium, or MAY be a bass pro fishing sporting goods store, or May be...blah blah blah. I think the statue should be moved next to the SEVENTY FIVE FOOT TALL replica of the statue of liberty (well, except she is holding the ten commandments in one hand and a big old gold cross in the other) that is in front of a church o

"The Great" was dictated by the Egyptian Gvt., the restoration committee, and the wonder's committee. The Actual Wonders Exhibit was entitled Rameses the Great so the statue reflected that. It is 20 feet tall.

your photo is nice, it's blue channel is real pronounced as the statue is more of a rose/brown granite, and the sky is (SORRY but it's true) NEVER that blue. It is generally a cruddy greyish nonblue from all the cloud haze.

between the 'A' and 'S' on the word EAST. there is even a tiny little unfilled circlish icon there that is probably the statue. Looking at it again it would be IN FRONT of the circliesh icon in the center of a line break/.Front street runs in front of the pyramid.

same one. It's incorporated with ramps and steps, and you MAY have been on the side of the pyramid, not the actual front. It's at street leve-which is low.

It is a cast from the original which was in pieces, the restoration of which the city of Memphis and several organizations sponsored. We were the only city allowed to produce a cast from the orig.
It stands in front of the pyramid.

Excellent book, one of my husband's favorites. I am re-reading it again. If you tire of this one you could try The Sparrow (and The Children of God) by Mary Doria Russell. (which i have re-read about 25 times because HEY! I am MENOPAUSAL and i forget, ok?!?)

yeah it was pretty funny...i was able to glue more dirt over my hair on the wall to eliminate the creepy factor for little kids. This is sort of like when i glued my fingers together with the foam insulation stuff in the can and i used WATER to get it off and THEN i read the can which said NO WATER...i need to be a leeeetle more careful i am thinking.

She's adorable- I got my first really good haircut last year for the same kind of reason. I was using liquid nails to adhere dirt to a wall (i was building a geologic trench for kids to explore) and i sort of got my hair caught and had to use an exacto knife to cut enough hairr away so i could, you know, walk around.
As an amusing side light to this, i went for a "trim" during lun

Am i imagining this or was there an episode with two fairly identical villians, in (ok so maybe it IS my imagination) with robes and headresses made of feathers? One was all white, the other all black. Or could this have been Time Bandits?
