Here's a quick experiment to show how fast proteins denature. Go down to the store and get about a pound of ground beef. Put it in a sealed jar let it sit in the sun for a week or so. Open jar and take a deep breath. You know what that utterly revolting stench is? Proteins that have been turned into a gas. The rest of the liquid and sludge is proteins in various stages of decomposition.by Rick Baudé - Ancient History

P.S. There was an old comic book character who famously said "We have met the enemy and he is us." Same with Academia.by Rick Baudé - Ancient History
That's right he's laughing all the way to the bank. In the meantime, all of academia is frantically protecting their little half-acre of hell from everybody else that threatens it. Or attack anybody that pushes up against the orthodox interpretation of anything. Or is hiding all the finest research behind mile high paywalls. I read the paper Lee. No experiments just looking at old reports and drawing conclusions from them. Construction equipment creating Cerutti has been repeatedly refuted in the literature.by Rick Baudé - Ancient History
It timed out before I could post the experimental results published here...by Rick Baudé - Ancient History
So that's the paper? I remember reading it and even though it's impressive in the end it's still conjectural and synoptic. They just compare Cerutti to other sites and weigh the pros and cons based on those facts and of course conclude that there is no evidence of hominid activity at Cerutti. OTOH I have three things to my advantage. 1) I live in the general area of the Ceruttiby Rick Baudé - Ancient History
I read the article and it's not a review of Hancock's work at all. Sort of a potpourri of various subjects jammed together in one user-friendly article. However, the take away for me is how looters are decimating our cultural heritage. In addition, I can also see "The Law of Untintended Consequences" kicking in. IIRC (I only read it once) but there's a web site where yoby Rick Baudé - Ancient History

Good you found that quote without too much problem. Now where's the Cerutti reference?by Rick Baudé - Ancient History
Yeah right. Where's the post then? Strange you don't have any problem posting the same old quotes over and over and over and over and over and over again. But when I ask for the Cerutti reference you become the artful dodger.by Rick Baudé - Ancient History

No kidding you can dig up the tomb as many times as you want. That's not the point. The point is that you can only dig up a PRISTINE SITE once. YOU CAN'T REPEAT IT. Therefore it's not replicatable. Witness columns are good ONLY FOR THE WITNESS COLUMN. Everything that has been excavated around it is gone for good. You can't replicate that. You can take as many notes and soilby Rick Baudé - Laboratory
