Look for quality in the construction of the laptop case as well. I have a rather powerful laptop, but the "top" cannot be closed anymore as it broke after constant use.
Listen for any sounds the case makes while opening and closing the unit - that's what I failed to do. For some unknown reason I thought the "noise" was normal. I suppose I was thinking more about RAM and

And as far as the title "Supernatural", that's a chuckle. It would appear there are a lot of people who just refuse to give mankind credit for their own development.
But hey, one cannot sell books unless there is a potential for aquiring knowledge about some "hidden powers".

So that's why I was hired last year to update astronomy books; changing the positions of well-known stars. It's all beginning to come together...

I missed the word "satire" at first too. It was funnier when I thought it was serious.
BTW, a ban on Barney might not be such a bad idea for those poor parents out there who are exposed to it repeatedly...

They state in the article: "a nip of whiskey". Again reinforcing the idea of moderation. Too bad, I'm still waiting for the news that vast quantities of beer is good for you!

Excellent analysis of the current alternadoxy market. I would add that the product features previously unknown or ignored "facts" and the benefit to the consumer is knowledge very few others would have. The sales cycle is complete with the consumer satisfying his or her need for prestige and hope of gain from this "hidden" knowledge.

Premalatha,
Usually the toughest question is the open-ended "What do you bring to the table?
Your answer has to satisfy their specific requirements so hopefully you've done enough research to know what their needs are.

I've hated air travel for years with their lousy customer service - even before they got security obsessed.
I'll drive or take a train across North America or take a ship to Europe before I fly again.
I get a bit of satisfaction each time an airline goes bankrupt.

Ancestry. Pretty fascinating stuff actually when I think about the fact that our ancestrial lines survived times like devastating wars, plagues, etc. A hardy bunch.
Actually, we can take it a step further and be mind-boggled by the idea that we are all from an unbroken chain leading back to primordial goo.
