Can I plead with whomever is responsible for layout and design?
Please, please, please make the holiday version of the top graphic smaller in height. Its very creative, and amusing, but I'm using a 1024 X 768 resolution monitor, and it takes up nearly the entire screen. I have to scroll to see any of the message board. Every time I click to a new entry, I have to scroll down. . . again

I managed to see the Book of Kells when it toured the US years ago -- up to then I had only seen it reproduced as color plates.
The most amazing part was the scale of it. Its much much smaller than I thought it would be, which made the execution of the artwork that much more impressive. As I recall, you don't get a grasp of the size from most of the photos of the plates.

If you are using Windows, do the following:
1. while the image is on your screen, press CTRL + Print Screen, simultaneously.
(Ctrl is at the lower left of most keyboards, Print screen is usuall
somewhere at the upper right.)
2. Start Paint
Start, All Programs, Accessories, Paint
3. After Paint starts, choose Edit, Paste from the Paint menu.
