Adkins was until recently a community centre manager in Burton. He is a history enthusiast, not a respected historian and anthropologist, it's terrible that the press has mislabeled him this way. See

Fascinating. I visited the Cliff Palace in 2012, one of the most fascinating places I've every been. It was pretty exciting/scary getting there, you have to climb four, 8- to 10-foot (2.6-3 m) ladders, for a
100-foot (30 m) overall vertical ascent. But nothing like Balcony House, which involved climbing a 32-foot (10 m) ladder; crawling through a 12-foot (3.7 m) long by 18-inch (46 cm) wide

Thanks. There's an interesting story behind this. An editor who is a professional archaeologist brought the article to my attention and I started to research it. I could tell immediately that this "AAA"
was bogus as it had no web presence except its website, None of the other sources in the article even mentioned the scarab. Looking at the editor who created the article and w

It's harder for an academic to get an article than an athlete, something that upsets many editors. Anyway, in a nutshell:
Subjects of biographical articles on Wikipedia are required to be notable; that is significant, interesting, or unusual enough to be worthy of notice, as evidenced by being the subject of significant coverage in independent, reliable, secondary sources.

I imagine anyone can add a blog post. He was one of 240 people given a 20 minute slot at the ASOR conference. Color me skeptical, but Creationists have a mindset that makes them see what will validate their belief. It's no surprise to see a negative review or that his book wasn't published by an academic publisher. And don't believe any claims that Petrovich is a professor. He'

It's a hard myth to break, despite all the evidence. I mean you could argue that Moctezuma had Spanish ancestors who came over before Columbus. BUt you need multiple explanations covering numerous points on both continents.

Petrovich is interesting. See which states that he "was formerly the academic dean and professor at Novosibirsk Biblical-Theological Seminary,(Akademgorodok, Siberia, Russia)." Impressive, no? But says " He served for 10 years in Siberia, Russia as the founder, primary faculty member, and academic dean at Novosibirsk Biblical-Theological Seminary."

I note that on the website Midnight Science someone has asked "There is no contact link on this page, and I have googled everywhere to see if I could find a bio for Derek Cunningham. The only thing that came up was an eye doctor. Can you provide me with this?" There's no answer. My search also finds a Dr. Derek Cunningham who has an O.D. doctorate. Is that you?
