I'm a newbie, so hello!.Archaeoastronomer is a mouthful, so you can call me Archi for short.
I'm looking for a common key to the Mandelbrot Set and Phi.
Probably the first shape is a Pentacle that most will recognise:-

Plato thought that 12 pentacles joined together would be to do with the Cosmos and the Aether, quintessence or fifth element, this is called a Dodecahedron, and is where i start, as the angles needed are and are related are the decagon which shows the 3D dodecahedron at its centre and all angles used to create this effect being a decile,36 degree's, quintile, being 72*, tridecile being 108*, and biquintile being 144*

Some time ago i found a poem on the net that didn't supply an author, i haven't been able to find it again, but i thought it funny and clever so i include it here:-

"I am a ratio noticed by few,
A pyramid, a flower, in math and in you.
A golden mediocrity in planets and space.
Fibonicci's forty in my fifteenth place.
Although quite small, i stretch to infinity.
The ancient Greeks raised me up to divinity
