And then I thought I had better get another planet in here if I was going to call this a solar system, so I set it up so that 1/2 the diagonal of G1 when compared to the diagonal of G2 precisely equals the ratio of Mercury to Venus and their semi major axis'. and there was an added bonus at the end for I found that I did not need to do any adjusting. The values I set first time up matched the ratio precisely. And so not only did I set G1 and G2 in a ratio of sq rt of 3 to Phi but had also managed to set up a ratio between the semi major axis of Mercury to Venus. It was coming along very nicely.
