Interesting detailed text. Have to compare their interpretation of the figures in the Zodiac reliefs with Fomenko's if there are overlaps independent from Fomenko's time-correlation investigation.
Also interesting details, for me at least, though not the original topic:
Figure 6.1: Ceiling of the tomb of Queen Hatshepsut.
That relief has 12 discs with 24 ray markings each. Also mentions the constellation mshtyw Meskhetyu, the foreleg, aka Ursa Major.
Figure 6.19 and 6.20 points out the scarab is drawn instead of a crab for the Cancer constellation.
The authors as you already pointed out, see the planets drawn there in their hypsoma location, the
ecliptic high point, section 6.3.2.
The moon is male in ancient Egypt and also in Middle Eastern antiquity. Same in the German language where the Sun is female, but different in French were Sun is male and Moon female.
