I can only "translate" about half of the utterances in their entirety. when you consider that these are mere rituals written in a highly formal venue akin to poetry and there is no context provided for any of them this seem to be about right. I understand (model) only about 80% of the writing so unsurprisingly many of the utterances throw me altogether. In most cases the last two lines of utterances are a sort of "determinative" but many utterances are only one or two lines. It's hardly surprising (to me) that short utterances are usually enigmatic. If you can deduce the context even the short ones can make sense.
Most of what they said was intended literally and had I known this when I started it would have been far easier.
The individuals reading these to the crowds were performing various tasks that coincided with the words so even long utterances sometimes have one or two enigmatic lines. The very nature of this language is to have no meaning until the entire sentence is understood and this sometimes requires the entire ritual to be understood. With our language if you miss some words or meaning no one is ever likely to notice at all. You think you understood and the speakers thinks you understood but you are both wrong. We will parse meaning even from disconnected words in fragments of sentences. This is how modern languages work. If you don't understand something in Ancient Language the words don't make any sense to you. It's all or none. We seek meaning in gobbledty gook but with Ancient Language if you don't take the intended meaning it looks like religion and magic rather than "The king is the star".
Ancient Language will never be "translated" because it is formatted differently.
