Interesting, but I think a better source for the "contamination" would have been the Library of Alexandria. Ptolemy I was the one who set up the situation for scholars to write the books of the early Bible. He brought them there to Alexandria, where they lived while they were writing. They had plenty of opportunity to talk to Egyptian priests and to notice what tools they used.
