Yes, precisely because it flies in the face of all evidence, and adopts a generally untenable premise, I encourage most people to treat it as highly speculative fiction, that they are better off not reading.
However, by no means did I ignore ANY evidence that contradicted it. I'm always interested to hear of evidence that contradicts it.
Anyway, you are kind to term it as 'charming'. :-)

'fringe world' isn't enough?
You think it needs the 'pseudo' prefix too?

No. The last thing I'm trying to do is convince scientifically minded people of anything.
After all, science is not a matter of belief or 'being convinced', but of developing better theories that better fit the evidence.

By 'we', I take it you are scientifically minded, and will remain unconvinced that my story is real, because you can easily tell that it isn't.
Jolly good. :-)

I thought people would reply with their comments.
However, I expect that most scientifically minded people will consider my thesis as speculative fiction and easily determine the theory it proposes as, at best, grievously inferior to the long established scientific consensus - not least because its premise is so obviously untenable, being easily disproved.
Even so, I still look forward to further insightful comments, corrections, and supporting or contradictory citations/evidence.
