The third pyramid was the last of the great 3 constructed. Now as to the base length Yes Petrie gave the numbers you quote Ahatmose.

I, E, S, Edwards who as you know was Keeper of Egyptian antiquities for many years at the British museum and an archaeologist himself wrote his Pyramids of Egypt book... i wrote to the British museum on this and the keeper at the time wasn't sure but thought maybe Marigoldie.

Edwards always went with the latest advice eg he gave Coles measures for the Great pyramid. His book was updated many times with new info and corrections.

Edwards gave the base for the third pyramid as 356.5 imp feet I have made it 356.4 imperial feet 324 Indus Valley feet.

Now you see even 356.5 imp feet x 3 = 1069.5 feet for the diagonal of the great pyramid rendering a base of 756.25 which is 440 royal cubits of 20.625 inches however its a little bit less I think 356.4 is good. Yes, I like the numbers 3456 and they come up again and again.

Anyway, this says to me that the plan for the Giza complex was devised before construction began.

Have another read of my Duplication of the cube and you get an idea of how the area of the base of the third pyramid and that of the Great pyramid are connected.
