Lehner doesn't know when, why or how the Pyramids of Giza were built, yet the main problem with his work is his gender reassignment of the Sphinx...
Neither has he figured out the significance of what he terms as "Mortar Boxes" – the three remaining 'plinths' and well-shaft adjoining the body of the Sphinx.
Or how their constructions prove the enclosure of the Sphinx was first excavated considerably before the era of Khafre; most probably in the late-First or early-Second Dynasty era. Except for those minor points, all good.
